Greetings From Hardly Strictly Bluegrass

I managed to get my  butt out to the annual free celebration of Americana of all sorts in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. This photo is the New Orleans jazz-funk combo Soul Rebels playing on Sunday afternoon. I think we can all agree there ought to be more bands where a sousaphone handles the basslines.
