{"id":2006,"date":"2013-06-02T23:09:42","date_gmt":"2013-06-03T06:09:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/billchapin.net\/allthecitylights\/?p=2006"},"modified":"2015-01-12T09:31:49","modified_gmt":"2015-01-12T17:31:49","slug":"an-atcl-first-video-and-a-photo-of-the-redwood-mountain-faire-06-01-13-felton-calif","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/billchapin.net\/allthecitylights\/2013\/06\/an-atcl-first-video-and-a-photo-of-the-redwood-mountain-faire-06-01-13-felton-calif\/","title":{"rendered":"An ATCL First: VIDEO (and a photo) of the Redwood Mountain Faire, 06.01.13, Felton, Calif."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If I were to ask you to imagine what a jam-band set for a music festival at a state park just outside of Santa Cruz, Calif., might look like, what comes to mind.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps something like this?<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hOy5IPE71iM\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Yup, the <a href=\"http:\/\/redwoodmountainfaire.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Redwood Mountain Faire<\/a> pretty much met every single one of my expectations, including the fact that it was a totally chill way to spend a late afternoon\/early evening\u2014lounging on a blanket, sipping some craft brews, watching the hippies whirl around.<\/p>\n<p>The music in the video is being supplied by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.poormanswhiskey.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Poor Man&#8217;s Whiskey<\/a>, a five-piece bluegrass-meets-southern-rock fusion combo that&#8217;s been playing all over Northern California and beyond for at least a decade, including at <a href=\"http:\/\/billchapin.net\/allthecitylights\/2012\/10\/a-few-more-exactly-strictly-photos-from-hardly-strictly-bluegrass-10-07-12-golden-gate-park-san-francisco\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hardly Strictly Bluegrass<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.highsierramusic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">High Sierra Music Festival<\/a> and other gatherings of groove-minded individuals. It has exactly one video so far: hippies dancing to Poor Man&#8217;s Whiskey at the Redwood Mountain Faire.
